The idea behind the Zombie Hunter’s Guide to Physical Fitness is to create a solid workout book that is off-beat, funny, and may appeal to people outside the typical “gym rat” demographic. What would a person need to do to get themselves ready to live a life of hunting down ravenous monsters in a post-apocalyptic world? A zombie hunter’s job is extremely difficult, and fraught with perils for those who are not prepared.

The book will be broken into chapters covering different skills that will be needed to survive in zombie-infested territory. Chapters include Strength Training, Speed & Agility, Endurance, Climbing, Zombie-Fu, and an Obstacle Course. Each chapter is then broken down into specific exercises to improve your zombie fighting and/or fleeing ability. Examples of exercises include the Zombie Drag & Pile, the Dodge & Sprint, and the Zombie Neck Chop. Each exercise includes a comic strip which either explains the movement in the exercise, expands on the usefulness of the exercise, or is inserted as an excuse for a dumb zombie joke. The last chapter will include weekly workout plans which incorporate exercises from each chapter.

Since you asked so nicely, how could I possibly say no?
